Index Description

The Canadian Dividend & Income Trust Achievers Index is comprised of Canadian companies, Royalty Income Trusts, and Real Estate Investment Trusts incorporated in Canada that trade on a major Canadian exchange and have five or more years of consecutive regular annual dividend increases. Canadian Royalty Income Trusts and REITs will constitute 30% of the total weight of the Index the remaining 70% will be comprised of companies that are not Royalty Income Trusts or REITs. In addition Indxis requires that a security’s average daily cash volume exceed $500,000 Canadian, in Nov. and Dec. prior to reconstitution. The Index is rebalanced on a semi-annual basis and calculated by the American Stock Exchange under the ticker ACD since August 9, 2006.

Methodology

Constituent must be incorporated in Canada and trade on a major exchange in Canada. Comprised of Canadian Companies, Royalty Income Trusts, and Real Estate Investment Trusts. Must have paid increasing regular cash dividends for five or more consecutive years. The average daily cash volume must exceed $500k in CAD$ in the November and December prior to reconstitution. Canadian Royalty Income Trusts and REITs will constitute 30% of the total weight the remaining 70% will be comprised of companies that are not Royalty Income Trusts or REITs. Index is reconstituted annually after the close of business on the last trading day in January. Index is rebalanced semi-annually on the last trading date in July based on dividend yields on the last trading date in June. Index is Modified Dividend Yield Weighted. Index is calculated in Canadian dollars for both price appreciation and total return.
